1st - Be sure the proper settings are chosen - Be sure the proper settings are chosen
The graph below shows stock price information in the form of a high/low/open/close candle chart. The x axis is in time format, and the y axis is in linear format. Click on "time" for x, "linear" for y, and choose "High, Low, Open, Close" from the drop down menu, as shown to the right. We are not measuring angles or point-to-point information. 2nd - Click the points that are described in Cell B1 - Click the points that are described in Cell B1

For a high/low/open/close graph, like this one, Cell B1 will display the following:

"Click the x-axis origin"
This is the red circle.

"Click the x-axis maximum"
This is the blue circle.

"Click the y-axis origin"
This is the red arrow.

"Click the y-axis maximum"
This is the blue arrow.

Accuracy in these clicks is important for accuracy in your data retrieval.

3rd - Tell Grab It! the calibration points. - Tell Grab It! the calibration points.

In our example, the points are the following:

x-axis origin
x-axis maximum
y-axis origin
y-axis maximum

4th - Click on your data points! - Click on your data points!

- HLOC graphs must be clicked on IN ORDER! The high for the day first, the low second, the open third and the close fourth. The first click defines the time value.

- Data appears as you click, starting in Cell C4.

- To load a new picture, click the

button.

- To clear data or restart, click the

button.

- To separate data sets, click the

button.

- Output styles can be chosen using the output formatting menu. For the HLOC graph here, it's best to choose time and numeric.
